Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job! This is the second purchase of these hinges that I have made after suffering a sudden hinge failure on my kitchen cabinet doors, as they proved to be fine on the previous occasion, here we go again. Same result, complete success, Thanks screwfix!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shut the door Easy to fit, works well enough, looks good. Would have preferred the soft close version but the extra cost was significant. These will do nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cupboard fitting. These direct replacements allowed the cupboard door to swing open wider for better access in a corner.

Every installation is different due to the varying circumstances of the site and environment.

Therefore we advise that you contact a local tradesperson who will be able to view and assess your particular requirements. They will be able to provide further advice for the installation of the Hinges.

Hello Bronagh,

We do not have the dimension positioning drawings on file that we can send out, however these are for units which already have the holes formed and you just replace the hinge, it can be done by trial and error on some scrap wood.

Thank you for using Q & A.

Hello. The screw type depends on the material you are screwing in to but the hole opening measures 4mm. Hope that helps.

I want to replace a broken door hinge with 2 new hinges. The doors open greater than 90 degrees, so I am looking at the 165 degrees. What I dont understand is the length measurement. It says length 35mm but I don't understand the measurement. The existing hinges are about 130mm overall length and 100mm from door fixing to casement fixing. The only 35mm I can see on my hinge is the hole size on the door side hinge fixing. I just need advice on which hinge I need. I am looking at the hinge ref Product Code: 57874

Answer:
Yes,35mm is the size of the cutout in the door. You should be able to replace standard 110deg hinges (Screwfix code 39093) with these 165deg hinges.
Beware: you will need to reuse the fixings from your old hinges, as these Screwfix hinges do not come with fixings.
