Nice functional product
This is a nice all round product sleek and nice looking, small pop up centre nice and discrete with a positive spring mechanism, Nice chrome finish unslotted for basins with no over flow and a long down thread which easily fits through a basin and counter top. The pup up segment also unscrews out to allow for cleaning.

I just retiled and decorated a lavatory and had to remove the basin. The trap, which came from Bathstore, was very poor quality, leaked and was very difficult if not impossible to clean. I tried everything to remove it from the basin and short of using a 60lb club hammer became very frustrated at how I was going to remove it. However perseverance won the day and by devising a special tool, I was finally able to remove it. I applied a very thin sausage of Plumber's Mate around the plug hole prior to fitting. The new trap fitted easily and perfectly, did not leak and is extremely easy to keep clean and shiny. How well it will survive tarnishing is another matter but it's so easy to remove and replace, who cares?

Fitted very easily without leaks (used plumbers mait). Difficult to rate reliability as only had limited use. Seems to be sturdy mechanism - only time will tell.
