Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product Bought two of these for a remote shed with no mains - one inside (with panel outside) and one outside. They are ideal for the job and work well even in winter. Just ordered another three for around the house and outbuildings. You do need to follow the instructions and charge them up first but they throw a good light and can be pointed in different directions unlike many others. The PIR is also directional which is perfect for what I want.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could have been so good I bought this based on the other reviews, and was really happy with what I unboxed. I made sure the battery cell was well charged and put the solar panel in as much natural light as possible. The unit manages a few minutes of light at the most on a full week of charge, quite useless. I would contact the manufacturer, but on looking through all the paperwork in the box, not one mention of who or where these people are/may be. It is probably a duff battery, possibly a faulty solar panel, but no way of reaching out for help means no gold stars from me. Sorry

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks nice but unreliable ... I am just returning my second one of these ... With the first one (after the 3 days of charging) the lights just went 'ping' when I switched it on and it never worked again. The second one did exactly the same but after 3 weeks of (good) operation. I'm looking for a different replacement product now.

Hi,
Our warehouse staff have advised that the connecting lead is 91 inches (2310mm) long. Unfortunately we cannot advise on the type of cable required to make up an extension.
Thanks for using Screwfix Q&A.

Answer:
Hi SAOS,

Unfortunately we are unable to source spare parts for this product so it would be a case of replacing the whole unit unless you search for a company that can recondition the battery pack.

Thank you for using Q and A.
