Very soft metalI didn't rate these sleeve anchors at all. The metal they are made of is very soft and not appropriate for knocking into a wall. I bought two packs of these and regretted it. The best way I found to fit them is too drill the hole, clean it out after ( meticulously ) and then knock them in with a rubber mallet. Generally found them awkward too fit.

Tricky to assemble. Strong. The sleeve is a very tight fit into the 10mm hole, so it needs to be hammered in. This means the bolt must be in place already, but the bolt is longer than the sleeve; so you add the nut loosely (or the bolt will disappear into the sleeve forever), and hammer that. This deforms the bolt thread so you can't then remove the nut to put the item to be fixed in place, or get the nut to spin back onto the bolt. Find a way around all that, and this is a very strong fixing.
