Rated 3 out of 5Â by Multapunkata Waterproof - like flannel
I proudly donned my new overtrousers, old wellies and fired up the pressure washer. Two hours later I took them off to find my jeans downright damp. I don't know whether to blame me perspiring or the fabric not doing it's job. I'm afraid it seems like the latter - the water got in but the air couldn't get out. Oh well, you only get what you pay for and they were cheap but frustratingly well made so I'm stuck with them. They're also very long. Buy something better.

The material does not breathe. These might stop water from getting in however if you are even moderately active your legs will perspire like crazy. After a few hours your legs will be soaked in perspiration. I think they might be fine if you are standing around or when the temperature is low but as soon as you do anything remotely physical you will sweat. I am fairly fit and not overweight but after a few hours pressure washing my jeans were saturated. They were worth a try at the price however goretex is the way to go.
