great minds think alike
after grubbing about on my knees doing DIY with just a gardener's kneepad, which i invariably mislaid, for decades, and getting one bout of hosemaid's knee i thought to myself what a wonderful idea to have a pair of work trousers with kneepads integrated in them - and then i discovered someone else had had the same idea long ago. S o save your knees, forget about the useless strap-on pads that end up round your ankles and get something like these trousers.
Rather excessive amounts of holsters and pockets, though the flappy ones aren't as much of a pain in action as you might expect. No failed seams after a few days wear but there are a lot of seams and stitching looks quite dodgy. I did a good review for some branch loppers recently and they then fell to pieces so be warned.
The nice ladies at Screwfix also let you try the trous on in the gents.

Great trouser, but!
Superb, well fitting, comfortable all day trouser, good value. My only gripe is with the leg length and the lack of choice. Have to fold the leg ends up as they drag on the floor, I'am normally a 30 leg but these seem a lot bigger than 32. other than that they are great.

Great value trousers
Have only just got these so can't really comment on their longevity.
They certainly have a lot of useful pockets and slots for all the bits you might need on a job and the knee pads have been great for crawling around in confined spaces.
My only criticism would be of the length, they appear to be much longer than the 32" advertised and I'm already treading all over the bottom few inches which is not ideal from a safety point of view. But apart from that I like them a lot so far.
