Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I`m a digger driver/crusher op in a quarry.I`m expected to work on my machines too.Crawling around, climbing, covered in dust, covered in mud.You name it,6 months on and these boots are still going strong.Just showing the first signs of a split or 2,but expect them to last another 6 months yet.Quite water resistant too, within reason. The first month or so they felt a bit tight around the front side of my foot. But they soon loosened up.I`ve had all sorts of boots over the last 20 years, and these are the FIRST pair i`ve never put softer insoles in!!When they wear out,i shall be buying another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boots Are Made For Workin ! I have had these boots now for over 6 months. They are worn every day, all day long. So far they have outlasted both Dewalt & Hyena in every way. After 6 months they are still in one piece, the steels are only just showing through (thanks to a really strong bond to the rubber covering them). The laces & studs are all intact and there are no splits in either the upper or lower. They will probably last me another 3 months before they are relegated to "garden boots", but thats only because they will start looking scruffy. The other brands i have had barely made it beyond 4 months. Incredibly impressed!

Are these boots waterproof?

Asked by: JCross
Hello JCross, The Site Granite safety boots are not waterproof. The Footwear Safety Code (on these S1 P) will include WR on waterproof boots and S2 or above are all water resistant. Have a look at Site Onyx (98660) or Hyena Valley (5363H) for similar styles with waterproofing. Thank you for using Q&A

what is the difference between a safety boot and a safety trainer boot

Asked by: fourfinger44
Hi fourfinger44, The difference is in the look of the shoe. both provide the same level of toe protection and there are many other safety features that are available in both such as mid-sole protection. Thank you for using Q and A.
