Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfort without the quality I bought these boots because in not a fan of your standard works boot. So I seen these on the website and for the price the were I though of giving these a try. When I first wore the trainer they were really comfy straight out of the box. After 2 days work and only been working on my knees for about 10 minutes and I noticed that the mesh on the toe of the trainer was breaking. The material under the mesh is still holding but I would of expected them to have not started to break only after 2 days work. They are still really comfy to wear and they break in really easy but it's just disappointing about the mesh breaking. I think these are only made for if you are doing a lot of walking rather than doing jobs on your hands and knees.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointed Purchased these to replace some uncomfortable work shoes I was issued. Really pleased at first as they are so comfy, but like so many others who left a review, after only one day the mesh has started to part company with the toe. I only work in a hospital and we need toe protection because we deal with heavy gas cylinders,so I am indoors most of the time, but these cannot last five minutes on a building site. It is such a shame to spoil such great shoes with this stupid mesh. I would be tempted to keep them and glue the mesh but I cannot risk a bit of the mesh coming off in a sterile environment. Unfortunately its got to be a return to Screwfix.

What is meant by "wide fit" is this the whole shoe or just the toe cap. I am a size 8 and wear normal trainers off the shelf so I am concerned the wide fit refers to people with larger width feet. Thank you.

Asked by: MrWilloughby
Hello, Wide Fit means that these are designed for a user with a wider foot, specifically in the front section around the ball of the foot. Thank you for using Q&A.

Are these as heavy as specified?

In the specification it says: 1.37 kg ... thats more than any other trainer over here. Is this correct?
Asked by: BWVictorious
Hello BWVictorious, The overall/gross weight of the product is 1.37kg however the combined weight of the boots is actually 1.055kg. Thank you for using Q&A.

Are they waterproof?

I mean do you get wet feet if you pop out to the van in the rain?
Asked by: Bigjimknickers
Hello Bigjimknickers, These trainers are not rated as waterproof or water resistant. If you just nip to the van and back in light rain you're probably going to be okay, but they're not going to stand up to much more than that. If you're out in heavy rain, walking through puddles, wet grass etc. you will likely find your feet wet quite quickly. Hope that helps, thanks for using Q&A.
