Best Value for Money
Found this product on the Screwfix website at a very discounted price compared to the rest of the Sika Wood Preserver Range.
No idea why because the colour is lovely and it is a fantastically easy product to use.
I would recommend using a brush to apply it, 1.5" is the best personally. The product is quite watery but with adequate protection for the surface you are doing this on, its not a problem. It was easy to apply and easy to re-coat.
The stated drying time says 1 hour dependent on temperature. In the summer, full sunshine, they were dry in 15 minutes, ready for another coat.
The finished wood looks great with three coats, looks nice and even with no marks.
I would highly recommend getting your hands on some of this before its gone. Its great. What's more is a little goes a very long way!

Good wood preserver.
This has been used to re-paint our outside shed. It is easy to apply, although it needs care since it is a thin paint prone to drip: a large brush is preferable to a roller. At the current discount price, it's very good value too. I would award it 5 stars overall, but, at this point, although the signs are good, its longer term reliability and performance are unproven. Recommended.

Good to use, good finish
I was looking for a dark green wood preservative and this is it - almost a perfect match for my water butt! The can needs shaking before use to mix up the pigment, and the liquid is thick enough not to be too runny when brushed on. The coverage is excellent both in terms of quantity and opacity. I gave the back of my garage, which is wood cladded and has a wood door, 2 liberal coats and I've only used about an inch from the top of the can! Brushes are easy to wash out in warm soapy water after removing excess e.g. with newspaper. I almost wish I had some more cladding to paint! As I've just used this I cannot comment on the longevity of effectiveness as a preserver but I have no reason to believe it won't be as effective as competing products. Shelf life is stated to be up to 2 years so I'll probably never use it up before it goes off, unfortunately.
