These are ideal for attaching external hardwood beads on windows, (avoid softwood as it won't last). They are designed not to rust and offer a good degree of grip to keep the beads in place for many years.

As some other reviewers have stated, these nails are inadequate for most jobs. I attempted to use them to attach 2cm thick hardwood weatherstrips to a softwood door. I drilled pilot holes in the hardwood, but they still bent - 100% of them.

Purchased a bag of these on the way to a job this morning which was a bad mistake and wasted an hour of my time having to go back out and get some that work!
These panel pins may work well for thin ply jobs but as soon as I tapped the first one into some 18mm MDF architrave it bent and so did the rest. I tried 10 before I realised they are so weak that you can bend them with your fingers! Will be returning them first thing tomorrow. Avoid if you are planing to pin something thicker than 10mm.

The bag contains a great number of pins, more than I'm ever likely to need.
Therefore the fact that many are bent or have misshaped heads is not of any great consequence to me, but it may be important to others.
