Rated 4 out of 5Â by LiamGT Exactly what it says
I needed one to replace a bolt from my brake callipers. Did exactly what it was supposed to, no more no less.
Features... errr, threaded rod with hexagonal cap. 5/5
Performance... the one bolt I used performed exactly as intended. 5/5
Reliability... the caliper is still on, and does not look likely to budge. 5/5
Value... I had to buy 50, I only needed one. The price is 'fair' but no more. A smaller MOQ would be nice.

After a bit of research (!) tells me the minimum fully threaded length of a bolt is 12 + 2xD mm (so an M10 bolt has a reliable threaded length of 32mm) and setscrews cost more than bolts as the thread has to be cut right up to the thread and bolt threads can just be rolled on. Bolt threads are also stronger, as the thread runout is better controlled.
Dull huh? But it's the sort on info (min threaded length) which screwfix should include in the product description.
Hence - use a bolt if you can, they're stronger and cheaper.
