need to know thread pitch of your 8mm metric thread serscrews
can you advise on the thread pitch of you 8mm setscrews as they are required to fit an existing captive nut which cannot be changed
do these bolts have a 1.25mm pitch
how are your Bolts & Set Screws sized
for example, is an M10 bolt or set screw sized by the thread diameter or the size of spanner to fit the hexagonal head.
The M12 for this bolt is in reference to the thread size. I.e. What size hole it'll fit into.
The head will be approximately twice the size but this does depend on which bolt and the manufacturing processed used.
Thank you for using Q and A.

What is the thread on this? I need M10 x 1.25
The manufacturer has advised that these are M10 x 1.5.

What is the thread pitch on these 1.5 or 1.75?
And does it match with 18600?
What does "A2" or "A4" refer to?
Are these measures of the quality of the bolt? How should I know which to choose?
Can you confirm, is 25mm the total length or just the length of the of the thread?
25mm is the length of just the thread. The hex head on the M10 set screws is an additional 6.4mm.
