Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alarm battery Fitted in burglar alarm to replace 10 year old one which had given up. After approx 1 year in use without any issues I tried removing mains from alarm to test the replacement battery under load. The battery held the alarm up for over 24hours so pleased with its performance so far

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement Wasn't sure if i might have had problems with this as the rating was 2.1AH and the old one was 2.0AH.. Don't know what i was worried about connected it up and works a treat. The terminal connections are as other people have said at either end but my old one was anyway. Reliability will have to wait and see as only had it 8 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality genuine Yuasa C20 As stated in some other reviews, this is a high quality genuine Yuasa C20 battery with connections at either end and not as shown in picture. I fitted it as a replacement in my burglar alarm which had been suffering power-related faults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacemen House Alarm Battery Bought this to replace the battery in my burglar alarm. Much cheaper than getting a "technician" to do the job and it is the same spec as the more expensive battery. Obviously I can't say it lasts the same time in situ as it has only just gone in

Whats the output?

I want a 12v battery with output current of 6A max
Asked by: Jaxson

I propose to use this battery in my house alarm to replace my old one - It is the same spec as the one I am replacing but it does not say 'rechargeable' on it - I am just checking that its the right one.

Yes it's rechargeable. If you need a clue then notice that the description says float or cyclic use. Float means can be (permanently) connected to a float (battery) charger to maintain the fully charged state (as would happen in a burglar alarm where the normal mains supply is "healthy"). Cyclic means the battery can be discharged (as would happen if your alarm mains failed and the battery then runs the alarm) then recharged (as in when your alarm mains is restored again).
