Sculptured Coving 117mm x 2m 6 Pack (12010)

12m pack (6 x 2m). Made from polyurethane. Extremely light and robust, with a density comparable to traditional timber but much easier to fit. The flexibility to follow contours of uneven walls and ease of trimming with a knife or fine saw, means a professional look with minimal filling and no splitting. No primer or undercoat is required and a classy finish is easily achieved with water-based emulsion and gloss paints. Ease of installation and superior finish means this product is worth the premium, against either traditional wood or plaster products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great stuff Really nice looking coving. Projects about 80mm from wall and about 82mm down I used the no nonsense grab adhesive. With it and the coving mitre box. You don't need to pin it all but does come in handy on joints keep everything nice and sharp. And its cheaper than other similar ones online.put up six boxes and filled joints and edges in one day (two of us) that is was 4 good size rooms and hallway plus landing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This product has exceeded my expectations. The finish is perfect, clean and professional. The best thing is, unlike plaster based coving, you can install this on your own. The joints (even straight ones) finish really well and once painted look seamless. Definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sculptured Coving 117mm x 2m P Good quality product, resin based , very light and easy to cut ( I used the forge steel coving box 4957C) perfect cuts every time - looked very professional even though I had never done this before. You would never have known it was resin based. Also used the No Nonsense grab adhesive (87451) which was very easy to use, stuck the coving without any problem , just pressed gently and then lined up properly - no mess, easily wiped up with a damp cloth.

Hi

I notice solvent free adhesive seems to be important for using with this product. I have a lot of Stixall for use elsewhere in my project, can this be used with this coving?

Thanks

Hello JamesYorky,

You can use any good quality solvent-free grab adhesive, as far as I can tell Stixall would be ideal for this coving.

Thanks for using Q&A

Can this be used in a kitchen given that it is polyurethane?.

Will it be heat resistant when for example a cooker is on and the heat rises etc?.

thanks
