At 73 I still have a small gardening business but do like to wear trainers most of the time which can be a problem with garden implements without protection, but these have steel toe caps. Advancing years also bring annoying ailments. I have a bunion on one foot and plantar fasciitis in the other. The former demands a wider fitting and the latter a firm supportive heel. These trainers tick all those boxes and not only that, they are comfortable and look good. I will take them on holiday for rock walking. I have only marked down performance and reliability as until I have worn them for some time I cannot really answer those questions

I bought the shoes for my grandson who is a painter and decorator. Although, to date, he has only worn the shoes for two 12 hour shifts he has found them to be comfortable and is very pleased with them.

by VIDAL Worst pair of shoes ever!
I decided to try some lightweight trainers due to not requiring the protection of heavy boots all the time , My initial reaction to these shoes was one of happiness and elation...
They are very light, Very comfortable and the velcro strap just makes for an ideal shoe, not to mention they were on offer at the time.
Unfortunately around 5 weeks after buying them they started to develop cracks on the uppers and this was just the start!!
The white material then simply fell off the upper and they just started to peel all over the shoe, Also the sole started to detach from the upper in some areas.
Stay clear of these shoes they are not fit for purpose.
See for yourself, I have attached a picture of my 3 1/2 month old shoes that i'm trying to return to the shop. But time is money and i don't have any spare of either at present !

Had these trainers approx. 6 weeks and they are falling apart. Very poor quality uppers that have basically cracked and started peeling off! Will be taking back to screwfix as they are not designed to be "work shoes" and are very poor quality. Have had a pair of nike trainers last over 18 months(still going) doing exactly the same work. Will not be buying any "scruff" label work wear will be sticking to Snickers and De Walt !!!
