What a brilliant machine for the money. I'm new to woodturning and jolly glad I picked this one. It's quiet, robust easy to use even for the begginer. Within an hour of setting up I had made an auctioneers gavel. Just remember to keep chisels sharp.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great lathe at a great price
Got this just before Christmas and have spent a few weeks getting used to it before writing a review.
Excellent value for money the lathe is well made and solid. The instruction manual could be a bit more detailed but you soon learn what's what. The speed changing method is a bit fiddley but for the money that's to be expected. All in all a very good purchase.

I nearly had a fit when the delivery driver said"I've got a pallet for you". I was expecting a SMALL lathe after all! Well it was small, ish, but what a weight, I had to get a truck to move it. Everything about it said QUALITY, from the box and packaging to the machine itself, smooth and effortless running, and after tracing a noise in the headstock to a loose drive pulley rubbing on the casing (only needed a screw tightening ) an alun key is provided and problem was solved, pity it wasn't checked out properly at inspection, however
that said I think it,s brilliant, Just the size I require and at a super price.

i purchased this laith as an addition to my ever expanding workshop.
im absoluetly oustanded that someone can produce such a item of high quality for this price point.
the feel of quality is there to see & it feels sturdy enough bench mounted with no need to wrestle it when turning.
the adjustments are all to hand & the motor is so quiet you dont know its on.
one of the single most mind blowing items ive ever bought.
