Salamander Pumps CT75+ Xtra Regenerative Shower Pump 2bar
Fitted one of these for a customer and the cold side stopped working after 2 months. Screwfix replaced the pump without question but the new one was faulty, the hot side would not turn off! I didn't want to change to another make as this one fitted the original pipework so I took the flow sensors apart and found that the magnets were sticking. Made one good one from the two. Hope this works but if not I will try another make. Also seems to run very hot.

This salamander pump is a lovely compact little thing and is ideal for squeezing in a tight airing cupboard, only downside is it can be a little noisy but it's a bargain for running 2 showers.

worst pump ever
fitted 2 of these and on both times customers contacted me after a short time to say they have stopped working, seems to be a fault with the flow switches not always working. Even after lifting the cws tank 2 foot higher it still packed in. I will not be fitting one of these again, stick to salamander rsp pumps which are bomb proof

Bought this Salamander CT75 pump 2.0bar for new shower installation. The main reason for picking it was price and also the fact that advert in the screwfix book said it was "Impressively quiet". As soon as I turned the shower on for the first time however I was shocked by the racket it made. It was excessively loud, over 70 Db but worse than that was the fact that it makes a high pitch noise and could be heard all over the house (I don't believe it was faulty). Took it back for full refund and purchased another less powerful pump (also from Screwfix - different make) for a little more money and this is much better. The shower we have installed does not have a flow control (just temp) and the Salamander pump was too powerful as well. The new pump is 1.3 bar and the force of the water in the shower is now perfect for us.
