Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value pump Replacement for the same model which had lasted about 4 years. Obviously easier with same connections etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisier than my vaccum cleaner Just had one fitted as part of a bathroom upgrade, cannot comment on reliability, it does what it says on the box pressurewise plus fits neatly in a small area. I'm just a consumer, but unless our one is u/s, this must be the noisiest pump ever and you can even hear it over and above a hoover going at the same which will not be good for anyone wanting an early shower whilst family members are still trying to sleep.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Things to look out for You get what you pay for, its decent enough but watch out for leaks from impeller housing; the day after commissioning, the pump developed a weep from cold side plastic housing, was only visible if you lay on floor & watched pump for several mins & not enough to cause damage to surface but was an irritation having to return to job, especially since coyldn't charge for it! 1/4 turn on each of the allen bolts appears to have resolved the problem. These bolts should not be over tightened & frankly would expect a brand new pump to be fully checked, with bolts torque tested before leaving the factory! So don't go in cheap with the install charge & allow plenty of time for thourghly checking after install.

Is it a drop in replacement for NP75?

Does the CT75 have 3/4" BSP connectors like the NP75? Also can you confirm that the CT75 I get will be like the one in the photo? i.e. inlets and outlets at right angles just like the NP75?
Asked by: orangefordj
Dear Customer, The CT75 does have 3/4 BSP connections, I cannot however see the photo you have mentioned so I couldn't say if the photo is correct, I can say the CT75 is the older style pump that would be a direct replacement for the NP50, where the CT50xtra would have to alter the inlets to suit this.

Can I purchase spare parts?

I have a Salamander CT50 Twin shower pump and the rubber part of the filter washers have disintegrated. The filter washer is combined of rubber jacket and mesh insert. I have been to a few different shops and cannot find the same filter washer. Is the filter part of one of the flexible hoses? Can you please advise where I can purchase from? I would appreciate any assistance. Kind Regards
