Rated 3 out of 5Â by Mike234 Trips out garage
I was hoping that they had fixed the test current since 2013 reviews but no. I fitted this to protect an outside spur, and it does trip out its test button but so does the garage RCD fusebox. The latter is 100mA so the test current for this is clearly too high. This socket might actually trip at 30mA but I can't tell, which leaves me wondering if I actually added any more protection than I already had with the garage RCD. I can't comment on reliability yet.

The same experience as previous reviews, poor quality finish - wonky buttons etc. Plus when the test button is pushed it trips the main house RCD. Would not recommend, its going back.

Bought one of these, for a bathroom project i am working on. The test button was quite wobbly, and when powered up kept tripping. First few times it took out the main RCD for the house, then just refused to switch on.
Taking it back for a refund...
