I own this freeze kit and I have owned and used many others. This kit is a cheap waste of money it's that simple. It fails to freeze more often than not and I would not have any faith using it in a customers house. Mine was sent back for service as it didn't freeze even after checking the tank under the control panel and after rothenburger had it for 7 months they sent it back repaired, well it may work in a factory but not on site! 3 out of 5 failure rate so do yourself a favour, use a gas kit or hire a freeze master.

This machine is absolute waster of money.
cant freeze pipes if temperature is high.
cant freeze if the pipes are not clean.
Then wait long for it to work and there are more chances that pipe is not frozen.Freezing machines with gas are expensive but worth the money atleast they do what the label says.

Having owned this machine for two years I can understand the frustration and disappointment of other owners however I can tell you that if you stick with it and learn to use it within its limitations you can find it a handy tool.
Top Tips - keep the reservoir full enough and lay the cables out on the level every month or so and let it run for 15 minutes to chase air round and out.
Use only on cold, straight, clean pipes and if it doesn't freeze after 15 mins try spinning the clamps around the pipe a little to get better contact.
Use plenty of thermal paste ( I use hand cream which seems to work equally well) on every face of the clamp, insert and pipe, if in doubt put loads more on.
When working this machine can save you hours on a gravity system but don't rob yourself twice - once when buying it and secondly by charging less because it takes less time. You paid a lot for this machine and it will save your customer time and money on inhibitor and on overtime when you get the dreaded airlock. Price for the job.
ALWAYS have two push fit stop ends with you just in case.
I use my machine on every bathroom fit just about and take it from me it can save you a lost day when compared with a drain down.
Flawed? Yes. A disaster? not if you stick with it and get to know it better.
I would buy another if this got nicked.
