Will this also work on dry rot and/or generally decayed wood which is not damp (decking/fencing etc)?

Asked by: cappers1
Thanks for your question. The product is really only designed for use on wood effected by wet rot. Any totally decayed or crumbling wood should be removed and after application of the Hardener the area should be filled, it is not intended as a stand alone surface treatment for rotten wood.

Is this product hazardous to soil and plant life?

I want to use this product in flower beds, is this product hazardous to soil and plant life?
Asked by: 1Olly
Thanks for your question, once dry the product would be safe to use in this situation. It would be wise/advisable to avoid getting the liquid onto surrounding soil and plants however.

Looking for a treatment for wet wood rot that can be used on wet wood

Asked by: Bob98521
Thanks for your question. Ronseal Wet Rot Wood Hardener hardens wood that has been softened by wet rot but is not unfortunately a treatment for wet rot. We normally recommend removal of the worst effected timber, then treat the surrounding area with the Wet Rot Hardener prior to filling with Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler.
