Rated 5 out of 5 by Ronseal spray Good product covered 10 panels in 45mins only problem had to wash the jet 3 times as it clogged up but brill when you get going 6 Jun 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than expected Really pleased with this..having looked at powered and electric spray gun options.. I thought for the price, it's worth a go. Did a good...and really quick (considering the amount of trellis work ! ) job of 16 panels. Used sprayable fence paint, but not Ronseal's..good coverage and consistent results..but you MUST keep the pressure up on the tank. Also, it's fairly obvious when spraying anything..to mask up around your area..I thought I'd done this really well, but managed to get paint spatters about 2 miles from the panel I was doing ! Keep the head in a bucket between fills or changing panels to prevent clocking and thoroughly clean the filter (behind the spray head) after use. All in all..this is great value for money and saves tons of time 1 Jun 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Spray Coverage This is the 3rd sprayer i have purchased over the years. Not the best i've purchased but it's still good. The others i have purchased were more robust with longer brass lances. My son & daughter still use my other 2. This one's all plastic. I like to see what pressure i'm using. There's no pressure dial on this one. 1 Jun 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst decision ever! I bought this sprayer tonight thinking it'll get the job done quicker with less mess than a brush.... how WRONG I WAS! 1. You can't use this even if you have the slightest breeze as the over spray is just stupid! 2. I finally fathomed out that you have to remove the filter on the nozzle head before it will work properly. 3. It then only works enough to cover 3 panels before the nozzle clogs up... it then produces two needle jets in opposite directions!! 4. The over spray mess is just unbelievable. You get more coverage on everything else from that than you do on the fence panels! Overall.... My advice is to avoid this thing like the plague and use a brush. Screwfix.... I'll be in to demand a refund on the piece of rubbish I'm afraid... sorry! 31 May 2016

Answer:
Thanks for your question, as the pressure builds up in the sprayer it does become slightly harder to pump but excessive force or strength isn't required to fully pressurize the sprayer.

Thanks for your question. We do not recommend the spray application of any of our Decking Oils and the pump sprayer can only be used to spray water based products.

Often acrylics damage the sprayer's seals but are they available as spares?

Answer:
Thanks for your question. We would only envisage a problem with damage to the seals if a solvent based product is used through the sprayer. Not all seals are available as replacements therefore if in doubt avoid the use of the sealant.

Answer:
Thanks for your question, the pump sprayer is designed for use with lower viscosity fence treatments that are designed for spray application. It wouldn't be suitable for use with higher viscosity treatment or those not designed specifically for spraying. Sorry but we haven't tested our sprayer with the product you mention so can't answer your question directly.

Hi thanks for your question, no it doesn't need batteries the sprayer is pressurized by manually pumping/priming the sprayer, hope that helps.
