Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what is says on tub Dries quickly and sands nicely, might need a second coat on deep holes. 28 Aug 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good with caveat As said, this stuff is very good but goes off pretty quick so make sure you keep the little plastic film on it and put the lid on tight. Also apply it quickly and smooth it out as quick as possible. 13 Jul 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the best Bought this to fill a last minute gap in a floor I was about to stain. I usually use a resin based sawdust mix but this was all I could find at short notice that 'takes a stain.' And the reviews were exactly what I wanted to read. Well... what a load of rubish. It fills like white polly filler - and sands like polly filler too. (Used natural) White chalky and covers your workpiece. Certainly not what I was looking for or what was described. As for taking a stain. This product ruined the finish of the floor and needed another week of sanding before being able to start again. That said, this is probably ideal for DIYers. For ANY painted job - this product is ok. Not the best drying time and so much more expensive than other 2 part fillers but small handy tubs and no mixing is ideal for a novice. (Or a pro in a rush) Just wish the tub hadn't lied quite so magnificently and just said it doesn't take a stain well - rather than try and market to an area of expertise they can't possibly compete in! Very very dissapointed! 8 Jul 2016

Thanks for your enquiry. Yes the filler can be screwed but there are likely to be limitations to the load the filler will bare dependent on the size of the repair.

Thanks for your question. No the Multi-Purpose Filler isn't water proof and therefore if used outdoors would required over coating with a suitable paint or woodstain.

I have some old floorboards (Victorian house) and some have bits missing at ends and joins where they've been crow-barred up for wiring and plumbing at some stage. Would this be a suitable filler or will I really need a 2 part type. Floor will be floorboard painted.

Answer:
Thanks for your question, the filler should be fine for this type of use just avoid filling the gaps between adjacent boards as the filler is likely to crack in these areas due to the possible independant movement of the boards.

Answer:
Thanks for your question, yes this is perfectly OK, just be wary of the temperature and conditions at the time of application, you'll need dry conditions and temperatures over 10 degrees C to enable the filler to harden.
