Ronseal Brushable One Coat Fence Life Red Cedar 9Ltr
Ronseal One Coat Fence life
It does cover in one coat unlike other well know brands which most people have used, but it will need repainting in a year, or two years if you can put up with the discolouring & fading, & it will also start to show bare wood.

A typical ronseal product
I bought this to cover my new fence. It went on very easily with a brush, the colour consistancey was perfect. This is not the first time I have painted fences but I always seem to end up using ronseal products.

doesn't live up to the slogan
Not quite what it says on the tin (well plastic tub).
Firstly, this is not any more 'one coat' than any other product I have used and is just too thin to be able to cover effectively in one coat. Fortunately it was on offer and I have got enough to do two coats.
Secondly, the colour does not much the colour shown on the tub. It is quite a strong red and although it dries a bit darker than when it first goes on it is still a long way off the colour shown. I would rate it even lower but I actually don't mind the colour.

NOT One Coat
This paint is usually first class for fences however bought it for an old fence of my friends which had never been treated before.
The paint soaked into the wood and disappeared. It took me 2-3 coats to get the look of a painted fence. Defo Not One Coat.
Could be the dried wood's fault and not the paint as I've used Ronseal Fence Paint on my own fence and it usually lasts 2-3 years and definitely restores back to looking like new.
