Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Good Filler Really good filler, easy to use, drys fairly quickly and becomes very hard. Much prefer this to the, "Polyfilla" tye fillers. REally happy and will definately use again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best filler and drillable I purchased this product after buying another brand in a smaller quantity, which just didn't do the job. The main difference is that this item sets so hard that it's drillable, I filled a 10mm hole in two layers allowing several hours in between to ensure that it set. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective and easy to use I bought this product to fill holes caused by removing wallboxes, so about 2" square and around 2" deep and it worked very well. It's quite dense and has a consistency like slightly sticky wet sand. You can lift a handful out of the container and press it into a hole without getting mess everywhere.I used a filling knife to pack it in and smooth it flat, and then used traditional white filler over the top, as it is quite a dark grey colour. It took about 24 hours to harden fully. I would definitely recommend it for this type of use. It's much easier to work with than normal filler and very effective for larger holes in walls.

Could an internal door be repaired with this?

It's not a massive hole but it will have to withstand rubbing against the internal door check (on the side with the hinges) once dry? I am worried it may crack or be worn down over time.
Asked by: Litster
Thank you for your enquiry. This product is designed for larger repair areas, you would be better looking at the High Performance or 5 Minute Multipurpose Woodfiller. Thank you.

Is this suitable for filling a hole around a copper toilet supply pipe?

Asked by: CLCL
Yes this will be fine providing that there is minimal movement where the pipe goes into the wall.

On a plasterboard wall, I have a 100mm diameter extraction hole lined with PVC, which I can not remove. Will this filler set against PVC?

Asked by: James11
Thanks for your question. It will set against the PVC but the bond to it may not be great. Dependent on the depth it may be worth packing the hole slightly and/or building the repair up in stages rather than one go to ensure the repair is anchored sufficiently.

Can you tile over this filler?

Asked by: Bigmaf
Thanks for your question. That would be fine but as you would on a bare plaster just use an appropriate sealer/primer to avoid the filler removing moisture from the adhesive.
