RJ45 Connector Pack of 10
They are absolutely fine.
I have fitted 4 of these without any problems.
I am unsure why other people have had problems.
The cat 5 cable pushes in very easily (making sure all wires are exactly the same length and exactly 12.5mm long).
Once crimped they fit snugly into the router/computer socket. I had a practise with one and tried to pull it out much harder than I would as a test, it did not come out of the computer socket.
I also gave the cat5 cable a hard pull trying to dislodge from the RJ45 once crimped, it did not budge.
I used the screwfix crimp tool (22799) as this had much better reviews than the cheaper one (30318). However, I did not use the wire stripper part of the crimp tool as it was not sensitive enough (and often left bare pieces of wire showing) I used normal wire cutters.
Rated with 4 stars as I have no other RJ45's to compare it to.

Don't fit my connector/router
Bought these to fit on the end of some cables I have laid. I also have a couple of connectors that they should fit. They are about 1/2mm too wide so won't fit.

entry level RJ45 connectors
this is a very easy to use connector with ridges that help guide the wires into the right place.

Poor quality RJ45
When fitting the RJ45 connector into my Pcâs network card, it jammed and broke. I thought I'd damaged my card. I got some more as it might have been a duff connector. The whole pack was the same and after closer inspection with other better made RJ45, I could see the problem. It is poorly shaped and cooper contacts were a problem too. I have tested this and other connectors (in brand new pack) on 3 other PC devices I have and the same issue. I tried on a BT new router and again it was totally wrong shape to fit
