Well what can I say, I bought both the l/h and r/h hinges as I wasn't sure which I would need only to find out they both were exactly the same. Took back for a full refund but no more in stock. Just make sure you double check before leaving the store.

Rated 4 out of 5 Good but beware....
Good quality and value hinges.
Just be careful about choosing left or right handed. I thought quite reasonably that right handed hinges would be the ones that you use when you want them on the right-hand side of the door as you look at it. I was wrong! Right handed refers to the post being on the right as you look at an open hinge - i.e. for use on the left hand side of the door. Srewfix - how about making this clear in the product description?

needed a pair of rising butts for my Mother, she'd just had a new carpet laid and the door was now far too tight. Nice sturdy steel hinge, easy to fit, just had to enlarge and deepen rebate on both door & frame, then screw them on with the screws supplied. Mother's now happy as she can open & shut the door once more.

We are putting on the farce 'Noises Off' by Michael Frayn where we have to turn the set total around between act 1 and act 2 then back again between act 2 and act 3. With me so far?
The doors therefore still have to work properly but open the same way in act 1 and 3 and the opposite way in act 2. Still with me?
We have put left and right rising hinges on either side of each door frame (there are 6 doors) so that all we need to do is lift them off one side and replace them the other side. Very clever. Applause. Take a bow and soak in the adulation.
See you on the night.
