I actually purchased both L/H & R/H sets as I had at that stage not determined which hand I needed. Am intrigued that one set came with screws and one set without.
I found the quality/grade of material used to be quite sturdy but the engineering of the bit that matters is terrible, there is so much play between the pivot pin and housing, I would not use on anything other than a barn door.
Very disappointed, these are going back pronto.

Well what can I say, I bought both the l/h and r/h hinges as I wasn't sure which I would need only to find out they both were exactly the same. Took back for a full refund but no more in stock. Just make sure you double check before leaving the store.

Good quality and value hinges.
Just be careful about choosing left or right handed. I thought quite reasonably that right handed hinges would be the ones that you use when you want them on the right-hand side of the door as you look at it. I was wrong! Right handed refers to the post being on the right as you look at an open hinge - i.e. for use on the left hand side of the door. Srewfix - how about making this clear in the product description?

needed a pair of rising butts for my Mother, she'd just had a new carpet laid and the door was now far too tight. Nice sturdy steel hinge, easy to fit, just had to enlarge and deepen rebate on both door & frame, then screw them on with the screws supplied. Mother's now happy as she can open & shut the door once more.
