Tried this out on a couple of batteries. Works great, does what it says on the tin! Easy to use.

Seems like a nice charger and well built.
The internal fan is fairly noisy (4x that of a computer), but the real nagging problem is:
You can not charge flat batteries. i.e. when there is absolutely no charge.
I think this is because it has some clever detection stuff inside to make sure you don't connect up the terminals backwards, so it won't provide power until its sure its connected to a battery. Cool feature perhaps.. But the fault is that that for a totally flat battery it can't indicate what is positive or negative or if you've even connect to the battery at all.
To solution, is you connect up to a 9v battery (or anything with charge), just to fool the charger, and then switch the leads over to your car battery. It appears not to be smart enough to detect a battery change!

This device will not charge a flat battery, nor indeed any battery with less than 5 Volts across its terminals. This is not mentioned in the instruction manual or on the web-site; in fact they only admitted the situation in an exchange of e-mails.
This was far from the smartest purchase I ever made.
Fortunately Screwfix refunded my money, if the supplier gets a few of these returned, they might get an idea for a battery charger with a sensible spec at a reasonable price. Had this machine reported the battery to be flat and advised removing it from the car before continuing, it would at least have served a purpose, instead it wasted a lot of time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Nav144 Excellent diagnostic charger.
A very good charger with fault finding and rectification capability. Easy to use and understand. Only wish is that it could have been supplied in a box or sleave to keep it in when not in use, minor niggle.
I would recommend this to anybody that needs a charger and needs to fault find on a battery. Unfortunately, having used this charger I have now found out that I need to replace 2 of my batteries as they would not pass the diagnostics to charge/hold their charge.
