Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect bit of kit Needed a torque wrench to do a bit of work on my tractor, looked at other sites and similar products but all were way much higher priced.i have never bought or used a torque wrench before but found the instructions to be straightforward and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. Neat and tidy box to keep it in too! I would highly recommend this to anyone 30 Oct 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect for DIY'ers Good value tool - easy to use for the "occasional" mechanic. Cant comment much on reliability yet ! 28 Oct 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not torque up correctly I bought two of these torque wrenches, one a few years ago and the other a couple of months ago. They have hardly been used, about twice for each one - they are really a back up for my work. I took them both to be calibrated recently. The older torque wrench passed the calibration but was 25nm out (so only pulling to 75nm when 100nm is indicated) this can easily cause bolts to come adrift. The second one didn't even pass the calibration as it was incapable of torquing to the specified setting even with adjustment. The only thing this wrench will do is tighten each bolt to the same torque, but if the torque setting is critical you cannot rely it. Spend more money and getting a better one. 30 Sep 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value The 1/2" torque wrench is constructed to a good standard for the price. Has a range of torque settings that would have to be purchased over two torque wrenches from other brands. The downside would be that I find the audible click on reaching the correct setting a little quite and physically the snap isn't massive, so you have to be a bit cautious. I've only used it a couple of times on lower torque settings so I think it's just about the feel and getting used to the snapping mechanism. The wrench comes in a nice hard case to keep it safe with the added advantage of being supplied with an extension bar and 3/8" adapter. Great value for money. Highly recommended. :-) 14 Sep 2015

Changing the ratchet direction changes the tightening direction but the torque settings don't work in the anticlockwise direction. There's also an arrow on the handle denoting "Torques" and only showing clockwise, see picture. So how is it reversible? Is there something else I should do to make it reversible ? Don't know why photo looks upside down in the thumbnail on this sumission.
