waste of money should of stuck with the metal ones and not tried to save a couple of £.
I will be getting some metal ones in my next delivery and these will probably just go in the bin.
They are not strong enough to drive into plasterboard the thread bends.
Even with a pilot hole they distort and become unusable way too easy.
usually takes about 3 or 4 to finally get one into the board

As the majority of fixing is done onto finished plasterboard, i.e. a skimmed a surface, these nylon inserts are not suitable. Firstly the nylon tip has difficulty penetrating the plaster skim and when it does the first thread of the helix screw is often bent down by the plaster skim and will not drill into the plasterboard.
My advice, stick with the metal type.

DIY'er trying to find a solution to a problem. Not used this product before but they did the job required of them and no mishaps with the plasterboard.

Not marvellous quality really but since there's plenty in the box you can get the job done, about average for the price really i suppose.
