Good price, but snap very easily seem to be made of chocolate or other equally unsuitable building material. OK for fixing batons if you use low tourque setting or impact driver

I bought these as I trusted the RAWL brand. Three of the 10 I screwed in sheared at the same point whilst fitting an oak veneer door frame (my second door frame as a DIY'er).
The previous ones I used from another retailer worked a treat. I am taking these back for a refund and will purchase some others, with suitable screws.

The screws shear off before you get them fully tight. Can't believe these are Rawlplug branded - they're usually pretty good. I planned to use them to fix a fire door frame and 6 out of six sheared just where the thread starts. Problem then is you can't get them out. Don't buy these unless you enjoy hassle.

Screws are cheap soft steel and shear off before you can tighten them up. If the bit slips in the head once, the screw is also useless and can no longer be tightened. The only way I've been able to use some of these is to lubricate the threads with beeswax and even then, you are lucky to get it tightened without shearing off. Can't believe rawlplug put their name to this product - it's rubbish.
