Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality This product is of poor quality. The foil is very thin and tares easily when cutting. The insulation value is poor being so thin. Alternative products based on foil covered bubble wrap are much more effective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product - Great Price. This foil was ordered around noon on line and ready to collect 5 x minutes later. easy collection and the price was great as well, better that other outlets. Does the job and easy to fit just using double sided tape. The difference can be felt straight away and hopefully a cost saving on my next heating bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reflector Foil other uses This was just what i needed. While the ceilings are down down stairs I will fix the foil to the under side of the floor boards where the radiator pipes run in the room I will be housing my record collection. Hopefully holding the heat back.

Hello Martin53,

Every installation is different due to the varying circumstances of the site and environment.

Therefore we advise that you contact a local tradesperson who will be able to view and assess your particular requirements. They will be able to provide further advice for the installation of the foil roll.

Thank you for using Q&A.

Hi BJMOSELEY,

You could use any adhesive that isn't affected by moisture and many of our contact adhesives would fit that description.

Answer:
Hello Ativa. This foil can be used as you describe. It needs to be placed reasonably close to the source of the heat as it is the reflective aspect of the foil that will create any benefit. Wallpaper paste is deal for fixing this foil but spray adhesive or double sided tape can also be used. Hope that helps.

Answer:
No, apply adhesive to panel then slide behind the radiator. Press it against the wall using a wooden batten or broom handle. For non-grab type adhesive, wedge some car sponges between the wall and radiator to hold it in place until it sets.
