Searching for screws I note that they state a 'ga' size. What does 'ga' mean? Have the 'ga' refer to the screw size I'd no.6 etc

Asked by: Icho
Hello Icho, The term 'ga' means gauge, it is a method of measuring metal. This screw is the equivalent 3.5 x 20mm in metric measurements. Thank you for using Q & A.

Can these be used outside.

I want to build a wooden planter that will be in the garden, can I use these screws to screw it together?
Asked by: stevec59
Hello stevec59, While the zinc plating on these screws does defend against corrosion, the stainless steel screws are best for a long life outdoors, consider 81021 as an alternative, particularly if they are likely to be exposed to a lot of moisture. Thank you for using Q&A
