Rated 5 out of 5Â by Nesta Practical compact sink
Purchased this sink as part of our kitchen refit. We needed something compact and practical for our utility room and this has fitted the bill perfectly. It sits over one standard cupboard and hence doesn't take over the remaining work surface. Ideal for those household tasks that you wouldn't want to use your best kitchen sink for. Stainless steel means it's easy to clean and hard wearing.

I purchased this sink as a temporary measure until I will refit the entire kitchen.
The good things:
2- The size is excellent for a normal kitchen as the normal sink size take a lot of space due to the drainer side.
The bad things
1- Steel is very thin
2- The fixing clips are very plasticy and hard to hook as they come off when you try to center the sink by 1-2mm. I spent 20 min to do it with the worktop not installed.
3- The drain comes with the bottom seal only
4 - Overflow fixing is leaking(even if there is a rubber seal and I overtight it).
I had to "fix it" with silicon around
Personal fitting advice from a medium skilled DIY-er
- Do not cut the hole in the worktop as per instructions(10mm behind the edges) but only 5 mm
- Do no try to fit the sink after the worktop is in place as you will have a frustrating a job to hang the clips(see above).
Final advice. Ok for an utility room with little use but for long term buy something else.

Ok for the price and if you need a small sink.
Plus point is it has integral foam sealing strip so no mess with silicone but despite having 3 holes for fixing clips on each side only 6 clips are supplied which then pop out as you tighten them.
The overflow and waste fittings are poor with the diameter of the waste fitting being such an amazingly tight fit onto the trap I thought I was going to pop the bowl inside out!

Good value but great care must be taken when cutting the worktop opening. It really must be done with mm precision if the supplied fixing clips are to be used. The cutting information is actually wrong - if you cut 10mm in from the outer edge, your worktop edge will only cover half of the built - in sealing foam - and worse - the spikes on the clips will barely reach the cut edge of the worktop. I measured extremely carefully and cut in 16mm from the sink edge. This gave a complete seal and the clips worked well but I did as suggested and ran up the screws into the clips first with some WD40 before fitting. Result? - A really beautiful well finished sink which looks superb, and at the reduced SFD price - a genuine bargain!
