These brushes are the best we have ever used, might be a little expensive but will last for long due to the packaging/storage pouch that comes with each brush to keep them in shape.

Purdy are pushing their monarch range here. I have been using purdy for over 20 years now [Australia] and their swan range is by far superior as is their pip range. I buy mine from the staes and with postage and the usual add ons get them at less than half the uk price.
I have not used a pure bristle brush for over 20 years, except for dusting off and hamiltons are just about fit enough for that.

I bought 'Purdy Multipack Brush Set 5Pcs' when they were first being promoted a good few years ago and was able to get 2 box sets for less than the price of one box set today. (So glad I did!)
If you are used to using bristle brushes, it many take time to get used to these brushes, but when you do you will never go back to your old ones.
They have a good soft silky feel. The paint finish is excellent and they clean-up well. Being non-painted/vanished handles, I was able to cut 2/3rds of the handle of one brush so I could paint in difficult areas (top of stairs, behind the banisters).
I'm yet to have any bristle loss.
These are brilliant brushes and I could not recommend them enough.

Bought one, of the little elite brushes for cutting in around trim work and windows, these are by far the best brushes I have ever used, I was worried about the cost for one but they really are worth the extra, look after it and i am sure this will last for years...having used these..I will never buy any other.
