Pole Sander 260 x 85mm
Not just drywall ...
The think I hate about decorating is sanding down - especially walls after they've had the wallpaper stripped off and all the small holes filled in.
I bought one of these because I couldn't face the prospect of climbing up and down ladders all day, rubbing at the walls with a sandpaper block (I never feel entirely happy pushing off a wall when up a ladder anyway)
I managed to do a wall in a few minutes which woudl normally have taken half a day by hand,
Money well spent.
I would have chosen a slighty heavier handle if that option was available, but really, that's a minor point.

A must have
Wish I'd bought this year's ago....... So effective and easy to use. Fitted with quality sanding sheet it eats through drywall jointing compound on walls and ceilings with ease. Worth every penny.

good, reliable sander
you'll never beat an electric sander. they are much faster and less effort. that said, if you can't afford a new power tool or are looking to do some manual sanding, this can really speed up the job. it's a strong, robust bit of kit that is easy to use (technique), however, you do work up a sweat using it.
the sand paper is easy to apply/fix to the pole and you don't tent to use much either.
it's a great tool for smoothing out small/minor lumps and bumps on a plastered wall!
although expensive for what it is, it should last you a life time as well designed and built.

I got one of these after seeing decorators on site using them. They are great particularly when filler has been used on a wall, or with uneven plaster. Needs a good quality sand paper that won't get clogged up.
