Pest-Stop Electronic Rodent Killer (76836)

State of the art 'smart' electronics device. A rat or mouse trying to take the bait reaches a point where it touches 2 plates and completes an electrical circuit, killing it in seconds. A light signals when the device has been activated so that the remains can be removed and the trap reset. 4 C-size batteries (not included) provide enough power for up to 12 kills. Warning light signals when batteries need replacing. Should not be used around children or pets

  • Warning Light Signal Capture
  • Suitable for Use on Mice

Rated 1 out of 5 by Electronic Rat Killer Good mouse trap but totally useless to kill rats which I bought it for. It needs to be at least twice the size for the rat to crawl inside and take the bait. Will be returned for full refund. 26 May 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not just a rat trap Well it definitely works on mice, i've caught 8! I'm sure it would zap a small rat too? I bought it as I heard what sounded like a heard of buffalo running around in the ceiling void! It works ok but not durable enough for outside use. So it's a trap to use when they have 'let themselves in' not one one to catch them whilst they are scuttling around outside!! The first one went back as one of the wires connecting to the metal plates hadn't been soldered/ crimped properly, Screwfix immediately replaced. 20 May 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by waste of money Read the great reviews so was fairly confident it will catch the rat. But it didn't. I could actually watch the rat from the window moving around the trap - never got in and never got caught. For days he was leaving footprints around the room where I had the trap, never caught it. Biggest waste of money. I spent twice as much and got an exterminator to do the work. 21 Jun 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good But.. Have used similar device in past with success. Not disappointed this time. But, unbelievably difficult to put in the C batteries. On first turning on - no green light. Rolled batteries , but no success. Decided to leave switched on so could see light if successful and then carried on rolling batteries. Result = green light and a shock up right arm! Placed trap, turned on (green light on and off). Next day first dead mouse. Seems expensive for what it is and too soon to comment on reliability. It works well but be careful! For Proctor - why oh why such an awful 4-cell carriage. It appears a separate item in the machine so perhaps you can change it in new models. 20 Oct 2014

The Electronic Rodent Killer is not recommended for outside use as it is not waterproof. It needs to be placed in a position where it will not get wet.
