not tested !!!
Ordered this radiator and prompt delivery.
Fitted and found a leak at one of the welds.
Contacted screwfix who said i needed to contact manufacturer, which i did. A new radiator arrived next day so good service from them but i find it hard to believe that they are not pressure tested before leaving the factory. Waiting for faulty radiator to be uplifted, scheduled for 2 days time.

I guess this is a review for the radiator itself, Screwfix and the manufacturer, and I have been very impressed with them all.
I was initially pleased with the service from Screwfix when I ordered two radiators in June 2011. One arrived damaged in the delivery (probably because it weighed a tonne) and when I phoned to have it replaced there was no problem, even when I said that I wanted to change my mind about the radiator as I didn't like the look or weight of the damaged one. I was told that I could just return the damaged one and get a full refund. I was under no obligation to order another one from them. Nevertheless I liked the look of the Oceanus Duplex radiator and ordered that as the replacement in July 2011.
I was very impressed by the quality of the radiator, it looks great, was a lot lighter than the previous one and gives out a good heat that warms our living room (approximately 5m x 4m) .
Unfortunately a month ago we noticed the floor underneath the radiator was damp and realised there was a leak. The plumber came yesterday and showed us that there is a break in the weld at the bottom :(
But no worries I called Screwfix this morning, briefly explained the problem and they said as it was over a year since my purchase, resolution would need to be through the manufacturer's 5 year warranty. They called the manufacturer there and then and agreed for a replacement to be sent out. I just needed to call the manufacturer to arrange delivery - 5 mins later and all done. A new radiator is being delivered on Tuesday and once I've been able to arrange a plumber to swap them over I just need to call them again to arrange for them to pick up the broken one (at no cost to me).
Other than giving them my invoice number and confirm my address I didn't have to go through any difficult questions about the nature of the damage or explain why I needed a replacement. And with the exception of the broken weld - we've been really pleased with the radiator itself.
