Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super stuff. This stuff is awsome for painting over fresh dry plaster, it even fill in light score marks off sanding. Suprb finish as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb paint! I first used this stuff over 2 years ago, helping a friend who'd had a load of plastering done. I'd normally apply a mist coat of diluted emulsion on new plaster, and was quite sceptical when he gave me a tub of this to use. Well, I needn't have been concerned - this stuff, when paired with a quality roller, is fantastic! Coverage is excellent, and 2 coats on new plaster negated the need to finish the ceilings with emulsion as I'd expected. I've now been through 3 tubs of this in my own house and will definitely buy more. I wholly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jolly good paint I purchased this bare plaster paint to paint some bare plaster which I had recently plastered. I have to say, it really is good. I almost managed to get it to cover in one coat so no second coat required, just a little bit of touching in. The ceiling looks amazing now, having got used to artex over the last 10 years. Only wish I'd done it sooner.

Can excess paint left over be used on already painted walls?

Asked by: FiremanKev

For ceilings, does this product need a finishing coat of ceiling paint or would this product be suffficient?

Asked by: NickCommandeur
Hello NickCommandeur, This really is down to personal preference. Once set the Plaster will be fine to just be left, however you may be able to achieve a better finish by putting something on top of the cured plaster. Thank you for using Q and A, EC.

Wallpaper

Hi, Can I wallpaper over this paint? Thanks
Asked by: Skyfarmer
Hello Skyfarmer, Please see the response from the manufacturer- "if the paint adheres firmly there should not be a problem to wall paper over the emulsion. The customer should stick a strip of Sellotape to the surface and should remove it in one firm movement to see if the paint actually is bonded firmly to the substrate; if so the surface is fit to accept the wall paper; otherwise the emulsion has to be removed." Thank you for using Q & A.

Can this be used on damp plaster?

The photo shows it being used over damp plaster but is this wise? I have two week old plaster walls that have mostly dried but where it's been coated over filler it is still damp - can I use this over the damp spots without worry?
