Rated 5 out of 5 by Top job! Does what it says on the tub. One coat is almost enough on new plaster and no need to thin it down. Dries really quickly so by the time you've cut in the edges you can roller the rest with confidence. Superb product and cheaper than most other standard emulsions. Well done Screwfix! 17 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it says Used this on a full house replaster, let the plaster dry out and applied this without thinning. We are now on our 4th tub. I would say you need at least 2 coats though, it is quite opaque, but we have gone with this as a base coat followed by a Dulux Supermatt trade coat on top. Does the job. Coverage: A 4m x 3m room took about 5 litres to paint all walls plus ceiling. 9 May 2016

Hi Peter77,

There is no reason why this couldn't be used on plasterboard.

Thank you for using Q and A.

Hello. Like all Paints used on Plastered Walls, the surface has to be Dry before Applying Paint.

We have a very large new extension that is freshly plastered. Can we apply this paint directly to the new plaster without watering down? Thanks

Answer:
As long as the plaster is dry you can apply it straight out the tub. If you have particularly porous plaster it suggests 10% maximum as a dilution.

I had whole house re-skimmed and I did not dilute. Worked fine.
