This is a good acrylic eggshell fir the price. I use it when a fast drying time is needed and this does the job. Two coats over a good quality undercoat is sufficient for a good finish. Downside is that it really needs to be applied with a roller as brushing doesn't give your piece a smooth and even finish and you will be repeating coats endlessly with a brush. But I find this is a case with all of the acrylic eggshells I have used so it's not limited to this budget product... Applies with a roller you can get a good smooth and even finish with two coats. Will use this as my fall to paint when a fast drying time negates the use of an oil based finish.

Used it for our kitchen and now on my third tin for the lounge. Covers well, doesn't drip and has a subtle sheen.

I paid more for the Acrylic Trade, hoping that the extra money spent would save my precious time.
I thinned to a perfect consistency for flow
I then used a £7 tool (1.5") afer pre-wetting, and filing the stock.
Even then; I struggled to apply sufficient product to achieve either a smooth finish, or a good opacity.
Despite the expensive tool, thinning (only about 5%) and excessive application (due to poor opacity) even then it just dried in lines - and never settled flat.
I left it for over a week, thinking a second-coat was the answer?
Tried sanding down with flower-paper, the base coat just rubbed off - due to poor adhesion.
(Like trying to sand down "cling-film")
I then attempted to put a Second coat on the small areas that had actually taken.
They " Still Wragged Up" !!
What kind of of paint can't re-cover on its-self after a whole week of drying???
Save your money and time.
Stick to an oil-based eggshell.!
It will flow better, and dry flatter.
Definitely the worst paint product I have ever attempted to use.
