DO NOT USE THIS ON BARE METAL
A water based paint causing rust to appear as it dries.
And the rust then come through the second coat.
Waste of money on bare metal

Bought this to repaint a metal garage door. I'm a massive Screwfix fan and have spent thousands through work and homelife, however; this product has no redeeming features apart from it is indeed quick-drying. Paint is watery-thin, coverage is poor, ability to overpaint red oxide primer even after three coats was very poor. I wouldn't use again and started the job again using Hammerite Garage Door Paint. Excellent finish in the end.

Dries very quickly so recoating can be done with little wait - on a warm summers day recoating in about 90 minutes. Downside is it's not possible to get a good finish as brush strokes don't have time to flow out. For my needs this didn't matter. Can't comment on durability, but would recommend a basic (e.g. red oxide) primer on bare metal, and generous application - don't over-brush.

I don't normally leave reviews but this product is shocking. Complete waste of money, if this is metal paint then I'm a rainbow coloured unicorn!
This "paint" looks, smells and performs more like PVA glue than metal paint. My advise is spend the extra £6 and get a tin of Hammerite
