Rated 4 out of 5 works ok
This Sugar Soap works ok. I used it to remove old wallpaper paste from walls. It isn't very concentrated though - 1/3rd of a bottle to 4.5L of water only gives around 3 buckets full whereas some other types I've used dilute to 10 buckets for the same bottle size. However it's pretty cheap so doesn't matter too much.

This stuff is always good at preparation for painting. I use it routinely. On some painted surfaces that are undamaged it makes it look as if the repainting has already been done!. On metal I did not know how well it would perform. It was just as good as on wood. Cleaned beautifully and the resultant paint job was made
to take very well.
