Rated 5 out of 5 by Effective & good value! I replaced my multifuel stove with one with a bigger boiler. All finished and commissioned. A drip was then noticed under the stove at the back. No way to fix without removing stove and remaking joints. No nonsense central heating leak sealer tried (nothing to lose!). Easy to inject through a radiator and leak stopped. Job done and no great cost. 9 Apr 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Easy to use Easy to use with enclosed adapters, but don't use as directed on a pressurized system unless you want it all to blow back out the end of the cartridge! Either partially drain the system to reduce the pressure, or inject into an isolated, partially drained radiator. 4 Apr 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing I bought this to cure a leaking radiator/valve interface, it wasn't a leak as such, more of a seep. I followed the instructions without a problem and emptied the entire cartridge into the radiator, expecting the seep to stop within 24 hours. 4 days later and it's still leaking! If anything it's worse. So I'll do the job properly, drain down, reseal, reconnect . Waste of time & money. 16 Feb 2016

Answer:
Leak Sealer is an inert formulation that will not react with other chemicals so if the system is treated with inhibitor then there should be no problems mixing. Leak Sealer should be left in the system. It's particularly good at sealing capillary leaks in solder joints. It forms a soft deal that will not affect the pump or valves.

Answer:
This product is more concentrated to treat 100L like the liquid 500ml version. They are essentially the same but the concentrate gel is designed to treat sealed systems using a sealant gun to inject directly into the circuit. Yes it can be added via the top bleed screw of the Magnaclean. Make sure you relieve system pressure and have the Magnaclean service valves open otherwise you might struggle to defeat the system pressure with the sealant gun. Re pressurise after use. We also recommend that you switch off the system and allow it to cool so that you don't expose yourself to excessive heat. Once injected you can restart the system immediately.
