Rated 5 out of 5Â by RoseBar Radiator leak
Developed a leaking resistor and being just a pensioner. I did a search to see the easiest and cheapest way to sort it out. So very pleased to find this product on screwfix. Ordering was simple and delivery fast.

Used on towel rail in bathroom, where the valves always seem to leak from under the caps (it was definitely the spindles, rather than it trickling from elsewhere). Had already replaced valves twice, so needed another angle of attack.
Used this stuff, and it appears to have worked a charm within a few hours.
Word of advice - when using, I found I had to open both valves on the rad, rather than just one as indicated in the instructions. No way I could get it in with only 1 open. Also, on a tall towel rad like mine, I could really have done with a second pair of hands to open the valves while I kept the pressure on the trigger of caulking gun. Not an issue with product at all, just my own ergonomics.
Used the 1/2" screw thread adaptor that came with product to administer straight into bleed valve at top of rad. Easy peasey.
