Not suitable for glazing
I bought quite a few tubes of this silicone for a big double glazing job- into wood sashes.
Glazed up one sash, but noticed the tell tale vinegar smell of acetic acid- it's not neutral curing.
Lo and behold on the limitations box on the side of the tube it states this product cannot be used where it's going to come into contact with the double glazing sealant compound (around the edge of the unit) therefore it's no good for any type of glazing that's going to meet building regs (into wood that is) as all new glazing is of course double. Additionally, it is now a requirement that glazing units are packed fully around the edges as air voids can cause condensation and therefore premature unit failure, therefore this product will necessarily be in contact with the unit edge.
If you use this- you run the risk of the glazing units breaking down. Use the Dow Corning stuff- it's only a few pence more.
This is glazing silicone you can't glaze with.

Great performance sealant
This glazing sealant performs as least as well as the branded products I've used in the past. Easy to apply and control. It has been in place for over two years on the glazing of my summerhouse with no signs of deterioration. I've just used it on the door and window glass of my new outbuilding project, still as good a product to use as ever.
