Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not an easy fit I fitted one of these in the d/stairs cloakroom at my place over a year ago and on balance, I'm happy with it. It looks good and I love the 2 ltr / 4 ltr flush volume. We all of us like lower bills. Points to note: I'm OCD about all kit so I checked the contents over in advance and re-installed all cistern components before anything else. Some seals weren't located properly and none of the nuts were tight enough, but, that's basics. All easily sorted. Never use anything until you've checked it first especially where water under pressure is concerned. FIT THE INLET PIPE BEFORE CONNECTING THE CISTERN TO THE PAN. You will save yourself a ton of agro especially if you don't have some of the tools the pros do. If you fit a pipe tail / connector with a length of copper or plastic pipe stemming from it to connect to the water supply you're saving a good deal of time and stress. Under regs you must be able to isolate the mains so add a lever / ball / isolating valve if one isn't present. The skirt at the base fully encloses the spigot so getting a pan connector on with the WC in place will be a right sod. With the cistern hard to the wall there's little room for your hands to manouevre. Very rare for the soil pipe to be bang in line with the spigot at just the right height! A flexible pan connector may help here. I used one to connect to the soil pipe 90 degrees to the right of the WC and coming up from the floor at a 45 degree angle! Fit to the WC first for reasons of personal stress levels, then to the soil outlet. I recommend using STAINLESS steel screws to fix the cistern to the wall. It will save messing about in the future dealing with rusted screws. Over the year+ I've had it, the WC has been reliable and the water bill much reduced. Sometimes, the flush valve sticks on its descent meaning water continually overflows into the pan on refill. You need to give the flush button a jab to get the washer to seal properly. Doesn't often happen but keep an eye on this ie don't leave the room until you're sure the flow into the pan has stopped. The toilet seat has lost its soft close ability but the lid's soft close still works fine. Otherwise, no complaints and a good WC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toilet with a gotcha Thankfully I read the reviews here before fitting and took out and refitted the inlet filler first - the plastic washer was on the inside not the outside, so it would have leaked everywhere! I saw one other review that said that the cistern was spaced out a fair bit from the bowl, but careful placement of the seal provided deals with this (make sure it is squidged on all the way over the cistern outlet). Once installed it looks great, very good value for the money. I'll be buying another for our second bathroom.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Check the seals first! Upon fitting it leaked like a sieve. Wished id read other reviews as the washers intended for the outside were on the inside of both the inlet and outlet between the seal and bottom of the cistern. This caused massive headache with water spraying everywhere. After turning the water off again and draining what water was left inside i took it apart and soon realised the problem and fixed the washers into the correct positions and so far no leaking. This was a replacement for a standard 30plus year old loo and needed some modification to the existing water feed and overflow due to the pan being so close to the wall (intended to hide pipework). I wouldnt recommend this to someone that isnt a coinfident diy'er due to this and its also very tight getting it all bolted up together especially if you have anything bigger than childrens hands. But it does look the nuts when all together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good toilet...rubbish seals... This is a great looking toilet the only downfall is the seals provided are not fit for purpose, too big meaning the toilet has a half inch gap between cistern and the toliet bowl that looks stupid.......first flush the toilet leaked everywhere .....third party seals were no better still failure to seal and a large gap.....rather than return this i quite like the look... i used...yes you guessed it bodgers mate "plumbers mate" removed the useless seal and used plumbers mate around the main water discharge hole....perfect....works like intended and looks good with no gaps......time will tell if it stays sealed
