Rated 5 out of 5Â by Drosilla Moretti Forte Mono Mixer Tap
First class fittings and first class operation. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a top class mono mixer tap. The quarter turn levers are smooth to use and are marked with a 'C' and an 'H' for Hot and Cold..
There is only one drawback. The tap does not shut off immediately but keeps running for a few seconds after turning off.
Have only had the tap for a few days, so can't comment on 'Reliability'. Thus 4 stars

I can see what other reviewers mean about the way this tap "runs on" after it is turned off, but I think one way or another this is "always" a feature of taps with this style of discharge pipe. The previous Swirl offering I had would wait 5 minutes or so and then dribble; much more annoying. I hope this tap proves more durable than the Swirl and that the gurantee it has is a measure of this.

Bought these to replace an all in one tap mixer that drove me mad ! Much better to have separate hot and cold and with a a high spout makes the sink much bigger for washing roasting dishes. All in all seems a sturdy tap and no problems with pressure as I have a header tank/hot water cylinder set up. Only gripe is that I would have preferred flexi hoses for ease of installation but I guess you can always just buy these separate if really wanted.

I bought these after reading many reviews about problems with other cheaper makes and also reviews on this product on this page. I went away and left the kitchen fitter to do his work but on my return he pointed out a problem with the tap. For some reason when they had assembled the mixer together they had put 2 cold valve assemblies into the mixer which meant that the hot was on when it should of been off. The fitter did not fully tighten anything so I had to disassemble the mixer and order a new one. When i got the box opened, just to check, i blew into the ports and turned on and off the taps to see if they were ok and they were. I supoose it's something that you take for granted but is worth a check before installing as things can go wrong. The mixer itself is of very high quality and now works as it was designed too.
