Rated 5 out of 5 by Read the description This items clearly states it's a Quadruplex in the title. This means that it accepts combined signals and splits them back out into the separate signals. This is a great item, lets you connect these five commonly used signals on one tidy 2G plate and without having to run 5 separate signal cables. Much as I'm all for DIY, It's not fair for products get bad reviews because people don't understand how to use them. 3 Aug 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed Per previous feedback on this item, it only works with a distribution system, the description is misleading. A rear facing image and would have useful and would have stopped me buying the wrong product and then spending 2 hours trawling elsewhere to find one. The instruction manual is also pretty weak for an established brand like MK. 25 Feb 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by MK TV / FM / Satellite Quadrup Well, What can I say? I bought this thinking I could connect my two Sky cables, TV cable and DAB cable along with a telephone cable. NO, Telephone would have been fine, Sky cables would have been fine but no facility to connect the aerial cables. After returning the item and researching it, it has become apparent that this item needs to be used in conjunction with a distribution system. There is no mention of this in either the catalogue or the Screwfix site. It would also benefit from a rear view of the item on the website. My advice would be that this unit would be a good buy as long as you are aware and able to use it as part of a distribution system. 22 Oct 2013

Yes this is fine. The reason BT install a master socket, is to ensure they have a point of reference in your premise, a point they will guarantee their service can work at its utmost. You can buy cheap equipment, sockets etc, that degrade their telephone broadband services & they do not want to work on "your equipment" you are responsible for that. SO...! so long as your wiring is in order it should be fine. Check the speed from the master first & compare it at the slave socket you are installing, to see if there is any loss of service.
