MK 50A Pull Cord Switch with Neon
Remember this is an isolator not a switch. The design is to isolate for service not switch on. For this purpose you can't fault it. It's robust and elegant. Some lesser versions of inferior build crack and so you end up buying twice. Cable preparation is the key to success when you have two 10mm t&e at the isolation point. In summary another great product from screwfix. Good price and as usual very attentive service.

Tips for making your shower isolator last (any makes)
1) make sure the terminations you do are tight when I mean tight I mean tight enough for you to struggle to undo!
2) make sure the copper is long enough no short measures as you need good conductivity as loose poor connections create heat which in turn makes the isolator burn out!
3) make sure you do not distort the isolator as this causes damage to switch I know its hard but be patient always buy deep boxes and arrange cables before making your first termination
4) THESE ARE NOT SWITCHES THEY MUST NOT BE USED TO SWITCH THE SHOWER OFF UNDER LOAD. THIS WILL DAMAGE THEM AND TO BE HONEST THERE IS NO NEED TO SWITCH THE SHOWER OFF UNLESS YOU HAVE A FAULT!

Just the job
I have used lesser quality versions, hence the decision to go for better quality. This is well made, positive action. And hopefully long lasting. Just what I needed

As you would expect from MK really. Well made, functions perfectly, easy to install, slightly more expensive then the rest.
Never had a problem with them.
