I purchased this to allow easy access for carers to my father in law's home, carers and family found it awkward to use. Fitting was straight forward although the screws supplied are very small and in my opinion not suitable to fix a security device. We found the code wheels were hard to turn and nearly impossible to use in the rain, once the code wheels are aligned you can then push the release switch which in turn releases the key from the bottom of the unit. This will only hold one key which is bolted to the released part of the unit, this makes actually opening the door very awkward due to being bulky and it restricting the keys movement. Once used the key is then replaced in the bottom of the unit and the code wheels have to be mixed up to relock the unit. The led is good for use in the dark and the unit seems well made but the design is very flawed.

The spare key has to be fitted on to a heavy component integral to the box, the key can't simply be hung on hook, taken out of the box and put in to your pocket.

I bought this to use in case we ever managed to lock ourselves out of the house, thought that I would never need it.
Had to use it the day after it was fitted, as I manged to lock myself out!
Found it to be very easy to fit, sturdy and well made. It has already paid for itself by saving me having to pay a locksmith in order to get back in.
The LED is a good touch as you have light right above the keypad, where you require it.
All in all a very good piece of kit, did exactly what I needed it to.

Only good for 1 key and not intended as a key store but more as a permanent safe for 1 key. Unfortunately I bought it for a gate key and a door key but can't fit them in the space so for me totally useless.
