Marshalltown Drywall Rasp With Guide Edges
Dose the job
Carries out the task its deigned for, but I made thcorner e mistake of buying the one with guide edges that are a pain when for example planning off plaster that's flush when to boards meet on an external corner.
Not great at cutting the paper that cleanly, stanley knife required to clean the excess. Would recommend buying the other without rails

Does the job
A reasonably effective tool for making millimetric adjustments to board edges, or smoothing off after a cut and snap, but if you start trying to remove large amounts of material with this, you'll be at it a while, and the end result, unless you have a very, VERY keen eye and an artists touch, will be a misshapen edge.
I found that it didn't cut the paper that cleanly, instead tending to fold it over as I planed, meaning I had to mess around with a stanley blade to clean the edge (where necessary), and if you run the guide rail against your front face, you risk scuffing it. I tended to the use the guide rail against the rear of the board, or go free hand, which may explain my slightly uneven edges...
It definitely doesn't clog, which is a plus, but it doesn't clog because it dumps all the dust out the back, so be careful where you use it - not on the wifes purple carpet for example >_<
I'm glad I bought it though.

Wouldnt be without mine, works very well removing a lot of plasterboard in a short time. Leaves nice smooth edges to work with.
